For some, looking sophisticated has become an occupation, an addiction, an everyday routine. To this category of people, they heave a sigh of relief once they're complimented for their looks (foot fashion). Others simply mimic what other people wear not really minding if it's healthy per-say. Yet others do not really care about their outward appearance even when it gets near shabby, or worse in it, bad or repulsive.
The perfect, pointy pair of 6-inch heels can make any outfit, but with this style comes much suffering. High heels have the stigma of being bad for both health and comfort, but this barely stops women from wearing them. Researches have shown that these towering shoes can be costly in more ways than one, taking their toll on your spine, hips, knees, ankles and feet, while altering your posture and gait. Thus, this post is aimed specifically at educating and convincing women to take it down a notch, in their best interest!
Permit me fellow ladies to say that inasmuch as we look lovely, stylish, confident, taller, sexier and prettier in heels, we have to suffer many of its side-effects. Feed your eyes:

MY MARRIAGE.
Kpoi Kpoi
Kpoi! Gbam Gbam Gbam! Dum Dum Dum!
Those consistent and scary bangs on my door sent cold shivers throughout
my system. My heart thumped out of my chest into my belly. My palms turned wet
all of a sudden. I became restive, uneasy. I didn’t see all of these coming, at
least not now… or ever. It’s barely 3
months after my dad’s demise and just 1 month after his funeral. I was not in
the right frame of mind, still battling with emotional instability at the
moment and only God knows till when. It’s
01:00pm this hot Wednesday afternoon. I wasn’t expecting anyone, no one that my
shattered brain could recall. My husband Williams Akunnaya Oriuwa (wealthy name
for a wealthy man of his calibre), the 1st and only son of Senator
(Chief) and Lolo Daniel Okpomechina Akuuwa Oriuwa, usually comes home in the
evenings after work and meetings. Besides, the banging was a direct opposite of
his soft knocks whenever he was at the door. And
definitely not a friend since I had none again. They had all fled after several
rains of insults, abuses and you’re-a-friend-of-a-gold-digger type of look and
treatment all from my husband’s family.
Who was it then I thought wildly? With fear, I fidgeted towards the
door, tried opening it with my shaky hands until the visitor flung open the
door almost smashing my face with it.
My last minute guess was right afterall.

A Break It Was...
I hate to say this but I have no option because it's the truth and must be said. But first of all, I must apologize to my great blog readers and followers for the long silence. This was due to circumstances beyond my control. I realized it's not healthy enough to keep you guys post-hungry. So, I am officially using this medium to say that the blog could only get better from now on. Trust me, the vibe has been revived and the fun has begun.
Happy Reading. Remember Be the BEST YOU can be. Cheers!
